Jaipur Rugs and Italian designer Matteo Cibic have collaborated on a vibrant collection of handcrafted rugs that are inspired by Cibic’s visit to Jaipur, Rajasthan. These room-like cabinets were repositories for all types of wondrous and exotic objects. The surreal carpets in this collection give you a peek at a new and contemporary India while helping in promoting a socially inclusive and sustainable business model

Strati by Kavi

This rug is a part of Aakar Collection by Kavi. It shows the hegemony of haphazard events that settle side by side like the reel of a film to form a complete story. This rug is hand-knotted using hand-spun wool that renders colors with a soft, mottled look.  Read about Kavi Chaudhrary’s approach to designing on www.rugnewsanddesign.com – Jaipur Rug’s Director of Design Ruminates on the Design Process
